In celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the theater Lawei In the small town of Drachten Holland has gradually transformed into a giant anthill.
ReplyDeleteThat first thirty red ants that appeared in the peaceful streets of the city. Then, after every night, people were discovering more and more ants arranged randomly, but all pointing towards the same direction. Local media, taken aback, began their instigation without real success. They had to wait 15 days before we understand it was really a work of art signed by artist Henk Hofstra, a native of the city.
After these 15 days of teasing, the artist completes his work in apotheosis by installing over 450 new ants around the Municipal Theatre ending the suspense. A contemporary work of art built in the manner of a communication campaign that fits perfectly with the image of the avant-garde theater.
