New Belgium Brewing: Pedal-tacular

Visitors touring the grounds of New Belgium Brewing, Fort Collins, Colo., this summer can pose within a print ad that appears on the back cover of Rolling Stone, among other places. The full page ad has been turned into a full size photo set.

The campaign is by Cultivator Advertising & Design, Denver. The ad, for New Belgium’s flagship Fat Tire Ale, depicts a man and a woman balanced on the pedals of the beer’s signature fat tire bike, in turn balanced on a slack-rope. It is meant as a whimsical statement about Fat Tire Ale’s balanced brewing, and also as a reference to the brewery’s 2010 Tour de Fat bike festival, which visits ten western cities from Chicago to Austin to L.A. to Seattle.

A life size recreation of the ad is now adjacent to the tasting room on the brewery’s public tour. Before imbibing (or after; all props are solidly welded in place) visitors can photograph themselves “balanced” on the bike and, by uploading the shot to New Belgium’s Facebook page, enter to win one of ten custom-designed Felt single-speed cruisers—just like in the New Belgium Brewing bottle cap and logo—that will be given away weekly from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Tailgating Isn’t Worth It- Give Trucks Room. It’s The Law!

On Monday, they revealed the latest part of their campaign for the Colorado State Patrol – a 3D billboard that is crunched together to simulate a rear-end collision between a car and truck

Clearly the addition of Paul Suggett as Creative Director/Copywriter and Gordy Hirsch as Art Director is steering Amélie in the right direction. The board was built by Bill Kinsey ofEyeCandyProps, with retouching by Armando Martinez and illustration by Richard Feldman.

To popularize SAB Miller India's new brand of non-alcoholic beer, Indus Pride, as a refresher and thirst quencher, we chose low-cost handles of airport transit buses as our medium.

Mini Cooper- Cut for the surfing generation

If you can count on one car brand to have great ads, it’s Mini.

As further testament to its quirky ad strategy, the Mini Countryman stars in a very interesting billboard installed in Milan, Italy.

As you can see above, what might look like an ad for a surfing brand quickly shows off the actual billboard of the Mini Countryman, highlighting the crossover’s slogan of offering a getaway from the rest of the world.

McDonald's: MacFries Pedestrian Crossing

During the biggest public festival in Switzerland, the Zurifest, McDonald’s confronted with heavy competition, even concerning core products like fries. A lot of independent stalls offer fast food. Fortunately the festival is the only time during the year when official street markings, like pedestrian crossings are taken out of function.

This enabled their agency to use the crossing in front one of our restaurants and have it re-styled into a portion of fries
