Kukkiwon World Taekwondo Headquarters: Revolving door

Kukkiwon the worlds headquarter of Taekwondo has always been looking for fun and easy way to get people interested in Taekwondo in their daily lives. In the later part of 2009, Taekwondo started the Taekwondo trail program for foreigners at Kyeong- hee Palace, and received a very positive response.

Now in 2010, Kukkiwon is eager to find other ways to attract people into learning about the Taekwondo trial program. For the same their agency (Brown Breath, Seoul, South Korea) found that people, especially foreigners, associate Taekwondo with Dolly chagi (Round Kick) & Kyuk pa (Breaking). In order to show these two skills very clearly in everyday life, they came up with an OOH Ad campaign on revolving doors by wrapping an image of a Taekwondo master smashing multiple pine boards.

The campaign was executed on several revolving doors at the entrances of huge buildings in areas with a large floating population. It naturally attracted people’s attention, and thus the agency was able to inform people about Kukkiwon’s trail program with great success.
